Sweet Words from Readers

The author's story detailing her journey to overcome personal circumstance including abandonnment, molestation, surviving a patriarchal family structure, and forced marriage is inspiring enough. But then she survives a catastrophic gunshot wound and endureds ongoing medical treatments while trying to unravel complicated family drama and adealing with betrayal. Her strenght, grace, and commitment to healing-physically, emotionally, and spiritaully- is a blueprint for anyone dealing with their own trauma. This book is honest, vulnerable, and an invaluable resource for anyone needing encouragement to move forward to find their own light and purpose.

Powerful story of Trageding and Hope
Yesterday I started reading Invisible Tears and I finished it in one day. I couldn't put it down. I was in tears reading this inspirational story. No human should have to endure so much tragedy. Despite all of the pain and suffering, Iram's unwaivering faith gave her hope to keep fighting no matter her impossible situation. I learned so much about faith and perseverance. Thank you for sharing this unbelivevale life stroy with others. The way Iram literally found her voice after tragedy gives power and hope to women of all background. I know many lives will be touched and saved after reading this gut wrenching story

Iram Gilani was born on January 30, 1984, in Pakistan. Her family is the type that gives preference to male children over female ones. Her elder brother, Ali, was born with neurological complications that led to severe disabilities. Due to the absence of her strict father, who works abroad, they could not bond well with him. Iram was given out by her mother, Salma, after her birth due to some challenges she faced at the time. Mahid and Dunia, their neighbors, adopted her since they have been childless. Later on, they gave birth to Wasim and relocated to another residence. This affected her so badly in all aspects, including her academics. Umair, her younger brother, who was loved and most preferred by her parents, was not corrected for whatever wrong he did. Iram was humiliated, neglected, and mistreated by Umair, her parents, and even her classmates in school.
They later relocated to the United States, where her father works. In the summer of 2003, Ali's marriage to their cousin was celebrated. On the trip, she discovered a marriage had been arranged for her with a strange man. What later became of the marriage? What is the tragic event that took place on the 11th of March, 2014? Who is Riz in this story?

This book is filled with a lot of lessons to be learned. The saying "Family is defined by love, not blood" was practical in this story. Love supersedes all, and it is a virtue that was well emphasized in this book. The book discourages humiliation, hatred, and deception. She also encouraged people who are fortunate enough to have a support system in their day-to-day lives to appreciate it and make good use of it. I also understand that people who are going through challenges and problems of any sort should find a way to move forward and seek help. From this story, it is paramount that parents love their children equally and discipline them if they do anything wrong. Also, parents should allow their children to make decisions of their own when they are adults.
I observed amazing things about this book. I could not find any grammatical mistakes or typographical errors in this book. Hence, the book is exceptionally well-edited. I also want to commend the author for putting up an organized and engaging story. The book contains clear pictures of the events stated in the book for proper understanding and clarity. The book also contains dates of occurrences and places of events, which makes it detailed and intriguing. I also want to applaud the encouragement and motivation she gave to readers of this book.
To be honest, I could not find any negative aspects or drawbacks in this book. I had a wonderful read. The book is fascinating and captivating. Accordingly, I will give Invisible Tears a rating of five out of five stars. I will recommend it to anyone facing any kind of challenge or family problem. I will also suggest it to parents who want to know more about responsible parenting, family, love, and bonding.

Do you put family above all else? What would it take to change that for you?
In "Invisible Tear", Iram Gilani tells us about her awful journey of abuse througout many years of her life, all of it condemned by her family. Gilani deals with abandonment, molestation, forced marriage, and even being shot, leading to irreversible wounds and pain. In her gripping memoir, she describes how she managed to heal from these countless instances of trauma, how she makes sense of them, how she finds herself, and how she's ultimately able to find freedom in helping others who suffer in similar ways. I finished this book in one sitting. It reads like a true crime thriller becasue, sadly. It is as painful as it is to hear about the horrible things that happened to gilani, It made me realize that we cann't take life for granted, and that my own trauma could have been much worse. Thankyou Iram Gilani for this memoir. It must have been difficult to make this story public, but it's an important read and will mean the world to many women out there, Thank you netgalley for the Advance Reader's Copy

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review. Wow, What an incredible story. It feels like a movie but unfortunately it's all true. This woman has been through so many hard times but she's amazing how far she's come and how she's lived her life since breaking free from her family
