Iram Gilani is a Pakistani-American who has risen from the depths of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder to be a voice for the abused and marginalized. An author, speaker, and activist, Iram has dedicated her life to raising awareness about the personal and universal effects of trauma, and how best to overcome them. Using her traumatic upbringing, and her own healing journey, Iram mentors young adolescents on their own life journeys, encouraging them to make positive choices, believe in themselves, and lead lives worth living.
A debut memoir of her upcoming book will encompass all of the hurt, grief, and determination that Iram so gracefully has carried throughout her life. Like in all her work, her upcoming book will give voice to the voiceless, and advocate for those in need of help.
